 
DAVID SHANKLE GROUP is a progressive power metal band founded by the legendary guitar virtuoso and master instructor. David “The Shred Demon” Shankle. David is one of the most respected and talented composer guitarists MASTER SUPER SHREDER shredding up the metal scene today. He is well known for playing 7 string over-the-neck scales, arpeggios and string skipping, along with being a master of many other guitar techniques. David was a member of MANOWAR from 1988 to 1994, playing on the epic platinum album “The Triumph Of Steel” and co-writing “Master Of The Wind”, “The Burning”, “Ride the Dragon” and “Demon’s Whip”. David left in 1994, after countless sold-out tours all over the world, and attended Roosevelt Music University in Chicago to improve his jazz and classical guitar skills. David’s signature over the neck style guitar playing can be seen on many videos including “Ashes To Ashes” and the 2005 MANOWAR Earthshaker Fest DVD. Now having refined and nearly perfected his craft, David brings decades of experience and hard work to the table with the DSG/DAVID SHANKLE GROUP. HOUSE OF HOLLAND. DSG is about pure talent and has been tagged “Dangerous Speed Guitar” by many well known and talented musicians. On vocals is Warren Halvarson. A Chicago native who began his singing career in the mid 1980's while fronting a band called Crystal Axe which also featured Michael Posch. Then Warren briefly fronted a fusion metal band called NVS, which featured Mike Garrett of Zoetrope & Supermercado. During the early 1990's, Warren continued to hone his vocal skills by fronting the Broad St. Bullies. During the next several years, Warren worked on numerous original projects with artists including Johnny Monaco, Enuff Znuff and Joey Kornatowski, Lynch/NVS. Warren is one of the most respected and talented vocalists in the Chicago metal scene today. His range, power, clarity and dynamic stage presence are well known to legions of fans. On Bass is Jeff Kylloe. Jeff is a complete beast on bass who began his career on guitar recording with Chicago death metal legend Paul Speckmann. Jeff recorded the “Death Strike” LP on Nuclear Blast, and soon after started ripping up the bass. Jeff has played with George Bellas, Shrapnel, Baglady, FTW, and is best known for his intense bass assault on the DSG release “Hellborn” on Magic Circle Music. Jeff is the perfect complement to David’s insane playing and can be heard running note for note with David. On drums is Gabriel Anthony. Gabriel is a true force in the music industry. Gabriel was so good at the age of 17 he was already performing in clubs all over the Chicago area. His credits include, Sgt. Roxx, Insania, Mutha Funk, Fair Warning, G.A.G.ORDER13, Radakka, Tyrants Reign, Pamela Moore, Bludgeon Magic Circle Music and now DSG. Gabriel has toured all over the world and his signature drum technique has been heard by thousands of fans. DSG has introduced the metal world, to a new breed of speed, while at the same time displaying awesome classical guitar and balladry on the band’s debut album “Ashes To Ashes”. Which was released in 2003 on Magic Circle Music. DSG in 2007 released their second album “Hellborn” on “Magic Circle Music”. DSG is currently in the studio working on new songs for an album. David states, “This new album is guaranteed to melt your face”.
